Serious Question

What do you do when you KNOW you aren’t eating enough, but you seriously aren’t hungry? Right now, I haven’t even had a “real” breakfast (I had a few bites of my kids’ scrambled eggs) and I’m sitting here thinking about what sounds good for lunch, but…. my stomach feels totally FULL and I’m not hungry at all.  Should I just force-feed myself some veggies or something? Normally, this wouldn’t concern me much, but since it’s going on 3 days of me not being hungry, I’m just starting to wonder what I should do? Granted, these three days are directly following my binge, but I didn’t go TOO overboard that day, as far as calories. Like, my BMR is like 1900, and I probably had 2500 calories that day, so it’s not like I ate enough for 3 days or anything.

Just wondering, cuz I know you have to eat and nourish your body even while losing weight. I’m not like, DENYING my body anything intentionally, I’m really just not hungry. Anyone have a clue what might be going on?

maybe get some slimfast shakes or those nutrition ones that will add some quick calories and you wont really have to eat. i know that feeling of not being hungry. just drink some high cal drinks maybe.

Well, I would force myself to get something down. Something healhy ;) At least a little snack or a shake. Breakfast is the most important part of your day, so you should never skip breakfast! I never ate breakfast, just couldn’t get anything down before the early afternoon… well, you know where it brought me…. right here to BS ;)
I forced myself to have a breakfast. Started with shakes, they were just easier to get down and now my body is asking for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And even if I don’t feel as hungry, I make sure I eat at least a small meal or healthy snack. Your body needs the nutritions… make sure you eat something :)

What about a healthy organic meal replacement type thing? You can get some calories in and nutrients. Yep shakes are a good idea in this situation too.
