Predicting A Gain For This Week! :(

Well, the title says it all.  I’ve been eating like a pig and doing the bare minimum when it comes to exercise.  I really think I’ve gained about 5 lbs in the last week, if that’s possible.  My clothes even feel tighter! How is it freaking possible to gain so much weight in one week, when it takes me a month and a half to lose that much??  LOL

Going out for my first run in FOREVER tomorrow morning.  I’m really excited about that!!  Hopefully it’ll spark that love of exercise again and kick this cool weather laziness out the door for good.  :)   My husband was like, “Why don’t you just relax??  Gain 10 lbs like everyone else and lose it after New Year’s!”  LMAO   But I told him, I’m asking for new CLOTHES for Christmas, and I want them to be in a tiny new size!  :)   So that’s my motivation.  I’ve been eating better the last couple of days, counting calories again, keeping it under 1500…  So with getting back to my intense workouts tomorrow, hopefully I’ll have a cap on this gain and be on track to getting things back under control.  120 here I come… I will see 120 before Christmas!!  :)

I love your husband’s idea, though I wouldn’t go for it either! :) I have gained 5 pounds or more in one week before, and I have always wondered why it’s so easy to gain but so hard to lose! Seems unfair. Hope you get to enjoy a run.

lmao. oh only a man would say that huh LOL. It IS amazing how easy it is to gain as opposed to losing this da**ed weight! I hope the run turns out great and feels like more! 120 here you come!

I hear you about gaining this week. I maintained (only barely), after having mom in town all week. And of COURSE it’s “that easy” to lose those 10 after New Year’s. FOR A GUY. My husband started dieting 2 weeks ago and he’s already lost 10 lbs. I’m refraining from calling him ugly names only because I love him and he’s doing so great. *sigh*

Cool weather stinks, doesn’t it? But here I am up and early to get my work out and in and I am sure you will kick it in the butt too. New clothes here she comes!

I have run aground as well, just strated loosing the weight off after my daughter’s birthday (yeah, those immediate 5 lbs), was doing great, and then I pulled my back… argh. I think we need some sort of “pull it together, gal!” club!

Your husband’s comment made me laugh. How funny. I like his take but I wouldn’t go for it either. I think new clothes are a great motivation. 120 is my goal weight since I am 4′11” and I’m hoping that at this weight I can go in and pick anything off the rack and have it look great on me. Keep up the hard work.

Wee, you gotta get that run! It ate my comment, so it shows up later on, don’t kill me :) I am in the same dire straights, can’t lose off past birthday-party weight. I am strating a fight with the weight today to have at least a parity weigh in on Tuesday. Gosh, can’t wait till my back is well enough to run or do high impact. :(

LOL Leida… I think we could use that club! I know I especially could use it right now! :)

I’m doing my best to stay on track with my eating… I’m at my mom’s house, and all the yummy treats that were my childhood favorites are staring me in the face… I’m not going there! LOL

I’m sure I’ll be reporting a gain this weekend, but it WILL be a loss next week!
